  3. well again it does you no good to come close to beating an srt-4 just to blow up a perfectly good motor. a stock srt-4 to a modded quest you have a shot but to a modded srt-4 you are pis$ing in the wind. i also have a srt-4 and it blows the doors of my quest in acceleration and top speed and the quest is pretty fast, but the srt is also modded.

  5. The dyno in bloomington is currently broke, i plan on getting numbers as soon as it is back up, heat or not there is still a difference between 25 psi and 31 psi this is also a big 16 g so flow is quite a bit more
  6. i am not running the boost reference to the rrfpr all the time only above 15psi and the cold start injector kicks in at 18 psi i have 31 psi tuned to a afr of 11.8 at 6500 rpms, in 4th gear. Every car will break at some point. Using any car over 20 years old for a daily driver, you take a chance any time you turn the key. My goal is to find the 2.6l stock limit, running the stock ecu, stock fuel pump, stock head gasket and stock bottom end, oh and the stock throttle body. When i find that then it will get it turned back down and i can start with the next car. I mean that is what this is about, is that not true? i mean if we wanted to build a car for overall power we wouldn't be messing with this motor, it is just not made for that.
  7. :thread20jacked8wq: that car is running a rising rate fuel pressure regulator controlled by a pressure switch as well as a cold start valve, there is no way for a conquest ecu to read boost, every part has to work together. this is not a discussion of reliability this was just a question about vacuum advance and boost levels. so anyway back to the thread.
  8. if you want more boost, you need to go to a smaller turbo, it is all about working with what you got. being really rich kills power, being really lean kills motors, your best bet is to increse your boost slowly until you fall right around 11.8-12.2 afr and leave until you can get more fuel. big boost is possible without mpi, i ran 31 psi on a stock fuel pump stock injectors, a paper felpro headgasket and throttle body, on a super 16g at 11.8afr, it is possible you just have to know your cars limit, that is a little above that turbos range but it can be done safely you just have to watch your afr, and it has been said many times before but dont try it with out a good wideband
