What's up everyone, I am wanting to get back into the game and will be looking for a Conquest/Starion to purchase in a little less than a month. I have to sell my 99 GSX that just had its motor rebuilt first which is why it wouldn't be until a month or so. My price range is 1k - 2k, and It would need to be running. If it needs work, thats fine, but It will be my DD. I can come pick it up. I live in St. Louis, MO.

If no one is interested in it right now and can't take it off your hands before you leave, I would love to purchase it when you get back. It looks like I will be keeping my 99 GSX and would love to add a 1g to the collection. Real tight on money now so I can't go forward with it, but if it is still available when you get back, I can take it then.

Ok boys, I am just posting this now to see if anyone would be interested. I can't afford this car anymore, and I am looking to get back into the quest game. It has 74,000 miles on the body, I am the 3rd owner. It was first bought off the lot from an older guy in chicago. He drove it for about 70k and then sold it to a family friend. He drove it for awhile and then he bought a WRX and thats when I picked it up from chitown. I have had it for about a year and a half. Somehow the motor had water get into it and a rod bearing spun on me. My dad is currently having a family friend mechanic rebuild the motor. He builds race motors for cars that race at Gateway and Pevely raceway here in St. Louis. It will have a 2 year warranty. It is bored .030 over (2.3l, not stroked), using stock rods, aftermarket forged pistons, arp hardware, head was rebuilt, 3 angle valve job. Also, 99's are the only years that came with the EVO bottomend (crankwalk nonexistent). It also has GReddy pipes, GReddy RS BOV, Injen intake, Autometer boost gauge. It is an automatic. The original tranny casing cracked, and we had it welded. It will hold. I did pick up a spare, 100k on it, just incase a freak accident happens and it dosen't hold. The body I would rate 9/10, interior 10/10 with one blemish on the headliner. I owe $6,500 on it through a loan, by the time it is done, I'll probably owe about $5,500 - 6. I am looking to sell it for that much + someone who would be willing to give up a running quest/starion in return needing minimal work. If noone wants it on here, I would still be wanting to pick up a quest around $1,500. Here are a few pictures. Just sold my 88 off to a older guy in illinois who is dropping a chevy in it . Told him I would be looking for another one and this one seems perfect, just wish my insurance payments on my 04 HFP Accord 6spd wasn't so much or I would take this in a heartbeat. bump for this car

Bought this car from Mike Meyerhoff about 3 months ago with the intent to get it running of course . Car has 105,XXX miles, came with a 5spd swap, interior has been ripped out, oil pan dropped, 3 of the main bearings and rods/bearings have been removed to figure out the problem with the car. Some good news: I ordered new carpet, a new intercooler, original shift boot and shift knob for the 5spd swap, new power antenna assembly, and a glove box since it didn't come with one. I had to rip out the interior due to bugs taking over, I cleaned it ALL up with brakeleen and I just have to put in the new carpet and interior in. Basically, that is brand new. Other than that, a new bottomend will get this car running (90%) positive. I just don't have the time anymore to fix it due to a full time job, night courses for college. I will get another Quest SOON though, PROMISE!. Looking for a bottomend for my 88 Quest. I don't have the time or money to rip the whole block apart and wait for it to get honed. My topend is in great condition, bottom was all ******** up. Here we go, I have a barcelona red Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Auto for sale w/ 112,000 miles. Only known accident is that it came from kentucky through a auction and it got ran off the road. Rack N'Pinion was replaced? And that's about it, I would have to ask my dad if anything else was fixed. Check engine light is on (needs new 02 sensor). Leaks oil, have to put a quart in every week - 2 weeks, depends on how bad it burns (Needs only the head valve seals changed, but I would change the rest just in case). Other than that the car is in top shape mechanically, and exterior/interior I will let the pictures do the talking :shock:. Currently it is my daily driver, no problems, bought the car when it had 100,000 miles, so obviously the oil leak isn't that big of a problem. I would like to possibly get a trade for a running starquest or something that run's good (I NEED TO TRADE FOR A DD, since my quest is not up and running yet and won't be for awile.)
