Recommended Posts

So I rebuilt the TB on the car with the new injectors. While I was at it I replaced all the screws with purdee SS allen head bolts. Looks good.

I also threw in a set of those RX-7 spark plugs. Has her running super smooth and strong now. Just wanted to throw those pix up for everyone. The hardware cost about $20 total and 20 for the rebuild kit so not bad at all.

isnt there a link for the allen head screw sizes. or a how to on this?

I got it from Starquestgarage.com You can reduce the cost by getting aluminum or just plain bolds but I went with the stainless steel cause I thought they looked better.

I looked at the black hardened steel too but prefered the look of the stainless. Since I painted the TB black.

Congratulations on a nice job and welcome to the Starquest boards. Spend some time looking at the various forums they will help you out and there is a wealth of knowledge here. Ask and you will get your answer.

What looks good is in the eyes of the beholder.

BTW, where did you get the new injectors and how much were they?

For what it's worth.

Not really "new" here man. Been around the club once or twice.

They werent NEW injectors either.... just new to me since I couldnt get the new ones I wanted bein my tax return went to my ex.

I did get some new injector pigtails from ebay for 2.50 each though. Lost a spring clip and all the parts stores around here had their heads so far up their... that I made a couple out of paper clips. They work great and cost nothing lol

i am curious about the rx7 spark plugs i think they wont work different design for rotaries :?:

The plugs are working great for me. Better firing than the originals. Its the 1st gen RX-7 plugs I am using with the 4 prongs instead of the factory 1 prong.

NGK part # BR8EQ - 14 Working great.
