I had the day off today and went ahead and made one for you, it's almost finnished, it will be ready to ship on Monday if you want.

You will need to specify the WG bolt pattern, just measure from center to center of the 2 bolt holes to the nearest 1/16", I want to make sure I use the correct template.

it will be $475 and I cover shipping. let me know where you will want it sent. I accpet moneyorders at:

Chad Samuel

1832 NE Port Ave

Lincoln City OR 97367

or pay pal (add 3%) to:

OK, I have that flange.

My PC at home is jacked up at the moment, I'll see if I have some pics to dig up for the WG placement. I put them all in the same place, comming off the collector and routing to just below the #3/4 runners. Oh yah, it comes with an EGT bung inthe colector, if you won't be using an EGT, you can cap the port off.

Specs as requested:

Equal length within 1/4"

runners are 9-1/4" long and 1.68" ID

Runners pass thoug flange, not butt welded with a transition, makes for better port matching.

pipe is 316L stainless, working temps to 1650*

flanges are 3/8" 1018 cold rolled steel (not the cheap hot rolled) and head flange is plasma-cut for stress relief

that headder is my first gen design, te new one is basicaly the same, but uses pipe instead, and the WG is oriented a little different but in the same basic location. there are lots of pics of them on this site if you search. Heefner, top-dog, and a few others.

the T-3 frame sits differently from teh mitsu turbo shown, you may not need to move it. Often it just needs a spacer, to move it forward, or just use one of the 2 bolts. It's generaly not a major issue, it's the other more minor items that either get eliminated/tossed, or relocated.

is the exhuast AR stamped on the housing? it may be just the pictures but it looks a little too big for a .78

this should be it right? so you think it's too big?

himni-racing just replied and they will exchange and just send the housing for a .63a/r for 42.00 ... i also ask for quote if i buy another housing.

I made a bracket and moved my power steering reservoir back behind the shock tower. I got rid of my ABS crap so there was room back there. You may have to get longer hoses. I know I replaced mine but not sure if I had to make them longer or if I just put new hose on because it was old.

Thanks Heef I kinda knew that i might need to relocate it my abs is gone so i might need to move it there.

Monty I didn't know that an 83 pump has built in reservoir? is it as good as w/ an external reservoir? you know they make a lot of whirring noise when cold :( anyway I'm in Myrte Beach right now w/ family so checking email is scarce I love the southern hospitality though:wink:

PS: What's the best location to tap a nipple at the turbo compressor housing so I could use the hks boost controller? :?

i moved mine down a bit. there is a mounting location there

i wouldn't use the 83 style reservoir, it doesn't have nearly enough volume. if you go to an autoX event, it will boil over spill in a minute

It looks like you're first design had the WG coming off the number 3 runner, and now they are in where the collector finalizes. I must say, good upgrade; wouldn't want exhaust trying to back-flow through the #3 runner.
