Anybody got a before and after TBI to Magna MPI dyno sheet?

Hi anybody got a "before and after" dyno sheet with only the mod's required to fit the Magna MPI manifold?

Like I mean same turbo and boost, a back to back test? Obviously some cooler pipe work would be different just to plumb it up.

Yeah, this was on a 20G, pretty much everything exactly the same before and after the Hawk and Magna swap. Both runs are at 15psi if I recall correctly.

 

here's the before, my graph is in blue with a similar car's numbers overlayed in red for setup comparison.

that was back in 2002. Notice the peak tq numbers remain but the powerband just goes on and on compared to the initial pull. and I guess that's about a 50HP gain too, just like Mike's. Never really thought about it.

This means that with this throtlebody and 4 injection system. "Called MPI"

Would make my car from 170 to 220 hp ?...

 

How much does this upgrade cost?

And what cars in the wrecker have this TBI to remove from

read on brother, that question's been asked and answered so many times by now that there's a forum devoted to it, and you're here. The MPI T&T forum. I think there's a Magna MPI GP going on right now.

you would need a magna EFI they are an ozzy car and I dont think you will find them in your local wrecker

although they are sitting in most if not all wreckers here in oz

I think I have half a doz laying around in my workshop

 

one of these EFI manifolds was put on a 2.6 N/A motor with a cam and a bit of head work that we build for a guys sigma

that run 140 Hp atw

Ok thanks for that info. Seems just more everywhere with quite a lot more at the top end, I guess providing of course your turbo has enough flow up it's sleeve to fully respond.

I hope to be able to post a before and after graph soon as well.
