generally the display speeds of pics are more dependant on the host site than the linked site.

 

some of the free web hosting sites load really really slow, and some are decent, but generally pay sites load quite nicely.

 

Not so...the last site would take minutes to load a thread full of linked pictures, this site doesn't.

 

was the testing performed on the exact same subjects in different playing feilds....? :P

 

Yes, look at the 'name with the face' thread.

 

The old site loaded the threads slowly with a lot of linked pictures, this site doesn't.

 

Apples to apples..yes...

the problem was there is a space in the url you posted, most host sites dont like spaces so they use "%20" in the url. i dont know what browser you use but with mozilla if you right click any image and copy the image link itll fit quite nicely between the image tags and itll work everytime (unless the original host has hotlinking blocked).

 

*edit* damn, the colour in the code box is kinda hard to read....(hint, hint)

You can do it the same as you always did, but you cannot have spaces now. If you have a space in the link then put a %20 in there and that will fix it. So I guess it's not the same way we always did it......
