88TSI_Rob Posted April 14, 2005 Report Share Posted April 14, 2005 Yeah, the throttle body off of Fords with 5.0's or 4.6's should work. It should look for something like this: http://i12.ebayimg.com/03/i/03/d7/16/ae_1_b.JPG That's a late 90's 4.6 Mustang TB. The black thing on the right side is the TP Sensor (or TPS) and it almost always will come with the throttle body because the factory used some serious thread lock on the screws. I have a standard catalog i wonder what the price differences are for the crown vic to the SHO etc. I remember once calling the Jeep dealer for a part then calling the crysler dealer with a part number for my grand cherokee. And the part was the same but it was cheaper at the crysler dealer. when i went to pick it up @ the crysler dealership the whole service area was full of Jeep grand cherokee's. And there was a jeep dealer across the street..guess i was the last one to figure it out huh I asked why and they said GM and cadillac do the same thing.
