I just got my flywheel, pressure plate, and disk from Otis and wanted to do the short shifter and bushings all at one time. I can't see dropping the tranny more than once. jr_ss Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Bill, you don't need to drop the tranny to do the shifter or the tail mount. For the shifter, just remove all the plastic surround inside the car, for the mount, just put a jack uinder the tranny take the tension off the back, loosen bolts and R&R. The shifter shafts 1st of 3 operations is complete. All the gaskets and end bushings just came in from Mitsubishi. Urethane is being poured.
