  1. Hey, glad you got them...took longer than I thought they would to get through customs
  2. The only negative effects would be the fact that you couldn't go back to using regular coil springs. You could go back to stock height or close to it by adjusting coil overs up
  3. Yes...the front struts are just inserts, you reuse the main body with the spring perch. The rears are the full strut with perch attached. If you want to slam your car...no wheel gap, or negative wheel gap.....you'll have to cut the spring perches in order to adjust the coil overs that low. If you want about a 1/2 or more wheel gap, then you won't need to cut the perches. You only need to cut if you want less than 1/2 inch or so gap.
  4. I have a set for my brothers' Acura Integra, and they are much smaller diameter than the ones' for a Quest
  5. I received the tracking info for my order and unfortunately the coil overs won't be in my hands until Aug. 1st....basically one week. All coil overs will be shipped by next Wednesday, Aug. 3rd. for those who have paid. Thanks, Art
  6. I'm still working on camber plates, the machine shop is kind of giving me the run around....I get the impression I'm not high on his list of importance. If I don't hear something by next week, I'll go to their competitors. I'll check on the strut tower braces.
  7. Order has been sent for coil overs, as soon as they're in my hand I'll ship out and PM tracking info.......thanks to everyone for a quick and smooth GP Art
  8. I need payment from atleast ONE of the three remaining.....I can put up the rest until the other two pay, once ordered....we are looking at about a two week turn around, less for some people.......so come on guys......
  9. gotcha both down, and two more guys deciding how to pay, almost there
  10. Yes, these are for the helper spring setup.
  11. We have enough to make the ten sets minimum....taking payments now. As for the payment.....I would prefer PayPal as it's the fastest way to get the money, and the faster I get it, the faster we get the coil overs. PM to talk about other payment options.....but PayPal is free for you to send money. You can PayPal me 220.00 that will include the 15-20 dollars shipping to my account aking2@cox.net If the shipping is less, I will credit you the difference, as I did with tmendeol when he bought a set. let me know if you have any questions.
  12. I think they're just right.....maybe a little stiff iff you drove on pot hole ridden roads all day.....but I think the ride is just right.
  13. Gotcha....as soon as I receive confirmation from all eight interested parties, I'll put in the money for the remaining two sets. As of now, I've received confirmation from 5 of the 8 individuals.
  14. Here's the list of interested parties, let me know if you're still in.....or want to be added.....thanks If the everyone is still interested, I'll buy two sets to make this happen 1. 15. No you can be a member of either site, you just tell me you want in and I'll add you to the list....which makes nine total. One more atleast and it's a done deal. Once I receive payment from everyone, you'd be looking at about two weeks until you receive the kit....faster for some. Dzone.....the adjusting is done with a threaded sleeve that goes up into the spring with an adjustable bottom "gear" type thing. Look at the link to the *DM site and I've got picture there. The Tokico blues are a bit stiffer than stock strut, those in conjunction with the stiffer springs give you a nice stiff ride.
  16. D Venable.....sent you a PM regarding front springs
  17. here's the pics......a little blurry without flash on, but easier to see if that makes sense..... http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wMTAwMjc0NjZzNDEzZGZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wMTAwMjc0NzZzNDEzZGZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wMTAwMjc0ODZzNDEzZGZkMzF5NTQx.jpg
  18. I've already stated the progressive rate in one of my earlier posts, you're right about the top plate being the cause of the clunking, the supplier is who told me that the dual springs also eliminate the clunking. I have a set of the exact coil overs I'm offering and have no problem whatsoever, no noise and a nice stiff ride....just right. As for height, mine is sitting with a 1/2" of wheel gap, spring perches still intact and I could go lower without cutting the perches. Also, in an earlier post there is praise from tmendeol who purchased a set from me and is perfectly happy as well. Anyway, no problem with the added input JustPaus, just me speaking from experience as well. All the info with pics are at Kelly's site.....link below. I'll go take pics of my car to show how it sits. http://forums.*DMperformance.com/viewtopic.php?t=198
  19. Assuming noone backs out, we have 8 people......If anyone still wants a set without the GP, I can sell the dual spring set for 225.00 plus shipping D Venable....let me get back to you on the front springs
  20. That's a pretty good price for those KYB's....but they're definitely not adjustable. I'm not sure about the adjustable set off hand, I can do some looking if you want.
  21. It does not includer camber plates. Depending on how low you go, you may not even need camber plates......that's up to you. I'm waiting to hear from a guy about machining camber plates.... I'll post pics of mine the way it sits without camber plates, give me til Wednesday. mstieg.....there really isn't a time limit (within reason) a couple of weeks will be fine. We have five so far, and two more interested. Dzone-here's is the link to all the info: http://forums.*DMperformance.com/viewtopic.php?t=198
