Connerf5
May be the wrong spot to post this but I can't post in fuel section for some reason. I just got a set of trilogy injectors used from here actually. Wondering how I can get the adapters to fit in the throttle body. But besides that how to I get them to fit into the throttle body snug like the stock ones? The tops won't even fit into the top hat with the o-ring on. pcristquester
This would go in the virtual mechanic section. What adapters are you talking about?
Connerf5
They're like shims cause the trilogy injectors are taller than stock
pcristquester
They are just spacers that go between the mixer and the top hat where the 2 Allen head bolts lock them down
Connerf5
Yes how can I get a set of those. I didn't get them with the injectors.
Connerf5
And are the injectors supposed to fit so loose in the mixer?
ucw458
I think the spacers were 1/4" or slightly bigger. Find something around that size like a nut for example and see if it works. Injectors should be snug but still swivel in their housings. They should not clunk side to side. The tops use a standard domestic injector o-ring. BWD #274571 The bottom is mitsu parts you gat get from a TB rebuild kit.
pcristquester
I think I have a set of spacers you can have if you can wait a week for them to get across the country, or I can measure them and you can find something yourself. Let me know
pcristquester
Also, use some lube like wd-40 to wet the top O-rings, or they may tear when pushing them into the top hat
