mm1970
I bought this Starion with MPI last year and have been taking my sweet time getting it on the road. I am new to the game and since this is not a factory install, there is a lot I don't know about the engine. Noticed there is an oil leak coming from my intake manifold gasket. What gasket do I need? I believe this MPI is a Magna but has been powder coated black. Magna intake gasket? Thanks
scott87star
Nothing is available, you have to make your own. Trot down to your favorite auto parts store and ask for a roll of gasket material. Be aware that the rear water port of the Magna head is much bigger and the oil leak you speak of is likely coming from the NA fuel pump port that isn't adequately supported by the intake manifold. The joys of hybrid builds. Edited June 28, 2015 by scott87star

mm1970
Another silly question, do I have to drain fluids (oil/coolant) before taking off intake??
importwarrior
yes you need to drain the rad fluid and keep an eye for oil where the mechanical fuel pump opening on the head is.
