Warfare
So when I bought my black 87 quest the previous owner told me that the heater core went bad and he "Bypassed" it. I decided to go ahead and pull the core and fix this issue even though it never gets cold here in the Rockies. ... Pulled it and took it to a radiator shop and had it pressure tested, checked out ok, so I replaced the "neglected" link hose for a whopping $5.00 including 10" of extra hose since it only comes by the foot, and got new clamps. My new question is, Is there anything else I should check, replace, or clean while I have the dash out?New speakers shipped.Going over it with an air compressor this weekend.Cleaning everything is on the to do list. Anything else "While I'm in there?"
ucw458
Clean and grease all the grounds. Check all the electrical connections for corrosion and fix if there is any. Replace the vacuum lines if needed. Change dash speakers if you wish to. Edited April 29, 2014 by ucw458

nomad
If you want to run a/c , now is a good time to replace the expansion valve wether it needs it or not.
