NikoFab
Followed up the 150 with body filler (Bondo Gold). Laid it on pretty thick to make sure I had enough coverage. It's always easier to take away than add when playing with filler. http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/4799619_orig.jpg

NikoFab
Let the Bondo cure for 48 hours and then went to it with some 80 grit on a palm sander to knock down the excess... http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/7935096_orig.jpg
NikoFab
Here it is after a quick rinse. You can see a bit better where I've had to build up the fairing. When the bike landed, it snapped the part just below the exit vent. You can also see in the lower right area where the fairing was wedged against the exhaust and got deformed by the heat...gonna have to build that part up the most. http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/8722206_orig.jpg
NikoFab
I really wanted to see if I could get the bike back to functional today. It's going to be a while on the body fairings, but it doesn't mean I can't work on getting it mechanically sound! Started with the foot brake assembly. http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/1940521_orig.jpg http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/389445_orig.jpg

NikoFab
So once again...I'm a lucky guy...here's some pics of the wife pitching in to help with the bike...turns out she really likes working with Bondo. http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/9712875_orig.jpg http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/3968130_orig.jpg
NikoFab
Did some more work on the bike today. Turns out the impact of the wreck broke the bolt that used to be here. Needless to say, the washers and nuts were nowhere to be found. So I put together my own little modification. Now the entire exhaust sits solid again. http://www.nikofab.com/uploads/3/2/3/6/3236317/2072627_orig.jpg
