Well first we're taking the bikes down to my boy Jorge at JD Powersports to get some work done. Angie's bike is getting a chain lube, oil change, and general tune up. Mine is getting the front forks rebuilt and a chain lube. Then I have to do some more work on my end. Gotta finish up the fairing paint job and get everything back on the bike...can't wait to see what it looks like when put back together. Spent about three hours with the new Dremel tool on the wheels to clean them up nicely. The weather here has not been friendly to painting...so I've improvised by shooting and baking. Didn't know what kind of success to expect, so I did some research and created my process. Shoot a coat...let it sit for 15 minutes...put in the oven at 175 degrees for another fifteen minutes...then kill the heat and let cool in the oven for an additional 15 minutes. First piece is the tail fairing...cleaned it up real nice and started taping it off and laying down the decals I would be using as stencils.
