OK , Its been 2 weeks since Dodge2004srt4 has recieved my payment for his exhaust manifold. Since recieving funds he has decided to not respond to my messages. I dont know about that feedback because it isnt true for me . Actions speak louder than words!..........Proceed with caution

You like all others have to read my entire first post. First I have responded to your PM's, so that isnt entirely true,you have 7 replies from me, this is the whole reason why I didnt want a for sale thread cluttered up with this, feedback section or emails are for this, I gave you my email for Paypal, use it....others have. Second and most important.....I stated from the start that I work full time, go to school full time, not high school....college, and things would not be 1 or 2 day turn around. Second you also stated in PM's that you didnt need this until next month anyway so no need to rush it or send it faster than snail mail. Like I stated if you had specific needs to tell me up front, importance, speed, timing, etc. Im not here to fight, argue, or anything else but sell, work, learn, eat, sleep and repeat.....There are about 12 others who cant complain about their parts arriving later than I stated in the thread, you and one other person were delayed, mainly to weather, and my health which Im not even going to mention beyond this, my life is important and if that means something is delayed a little bit, sorry but it cant be bought back or replaced, Im sure your manifold will arrive just when you need it, or sooner than when you told me you needed it by,in PM's. In order for me to respond to your PM I have to see it and read it, like I told you in the second set of PMs you started that I never saw a new PM from you, and you also have my email which I dont see any contact there either.Everything has been going out in the order it was paid for, and besides you I have one person who's package is missing which Im working on, other than that, they are all shipped or shipping within a day. I just had someone ask me for prices on 4 sets of parts, all of which were listed plain as day, so I cant make anyone read or comprehend what I typed, copy and paste, guy doesnt want them, go figure. If there was some mis-communication in my originating post or a PM Im sorry, but from what you had told me Im fully within the time limits you gave me to have this shipped out to you.

 

Let me know when it arrives, since Alaska postal service seems to have its own schedule outside of the lower 48. Thats all that matters to me is that you get it by the time you said. I cant babysit 40 groups of PM's 100% error free, Ive been asking people to let me know when stuff arrives so i can delete them and have less clutter and Ill ask of you the same.

I can send you some pics of them but first I will need your email address PM'd to me, and second Ill need to wait until a bit closer to the end of parting a majority of the car out before I start removing body parts, its on the street so it cant look like its missing stuff. I also have really only been looking for PM's so I have not seen this until tonight, this is why I asked all requests to be to my PM's. Ill send you one so we can be on the same page.

On the 8th you said it was off and being boxed up. Then on the 15th it was getting boxed up again. It is now the 26th , maybe you could have at least updated me from the 15th to the 25th. It will be almost 20 days to ship.and next month is here when i need it. Sorry I am aggresive but when you pm somebody and you can see thier online and they dont reply to you over and over it gets frustrating.

AKnorthstar...Im always online because my computer is in sleep mode when Im not using it, and my phone is also logged in as well. It should show that Im always online, when in fact I am not. Like I said, I made a mistake and admit to it, I am doing my best to achieve 100% success in all these PM's/orders/questions. I did not see the notification for a new message, thats all I do is check for new ones and do my online lecture, and then shut her down. I dont even have time to play around, search the net, or just read things online for fun or entertainment, all my time is allocated. I didnt even sleep last night and I should be finishing homework but I am just starting it cause I dont want to leave this issue "open". I do have to go and complete 3 classes worth of homework now before I sleep so now........

To everyone....Sometimes things get really complicated and use alot of the little time I have b/c I get payments with addresses but either the parts arent in the Paypal, or the username from SQC isnt included either, so I have to "figure out" by the price or by someone's location (if correct) to match parts with recipients. There are only 2 days I have an hour before everything closes, and Sunday's are the only day I dont have school or work but cant ship anything. So in 2 hours a week I have to make it from where ever I am to the post office and its right during the start of peak rush hour and the post office is north of me. Morning rush south is bad, evening rush north is bad. Not making excuses here. Help me out and include some basic info with your payment, whether you send it as an, item, service, (should never be sending it as personal) money owed<----(fee free) and better than using "gift"......type your address, and the parts you ordered, minimum.......add your screen name would be the third beneficial item and you will speed up the process by 15 minutes a week easily by including at least your address and one of the other 2 things.. That's more time I have to remove parts as well instead of cramming boxing, removal, labeling, sorting all in one 8 hour day that I have to do laundry and grocery shopping, homework is everyday but obviously weekends are catch up days and major assignments are given. For those who dont get tracking numbers tomorrow about 2-3pm you will have them Thurs evening/Fri just after 1pm. Sunday, Tues 1hr, Thurs 1hr.

Not much to confirm, the parts in question are on a plane, train, or automobile headed to their destination and the buyers all have their tracking numbers. One package was lost in transit and it getting a refund, and the rest are still being removed, or locating a box and all 5 members have been contacted, also have not mentioned anything in the thread, they have kept everything to PM's and Ive had no issues getting their messages. Just as I have answered all 15 emails from you over the last week or so. Unless Im missing what you meant by confirming things.

 

Its supposed to be pouring here tomorrow, Ill email you about this anyway but in case you dont get the email and see this I wanted you to know that since you will be pulling the box off in the rain.

My spring break is next week, so anything Im not caught up on will and can be done next week, any special requests or difficult parts needed, next week will be the best week for it. I need that break from school, its definitely becoming brutal as the semester moves forward.

Finally caught up on everything on here for now, I have to dig into my homework and papers due from now until I go back on Monday. Ive also replied to all PM's Ive missed over the week since I devoted all my remaining time into catching up and will continue to respond, however I wont be starting any projects until next week unless its fairly simple like something Ive already removed. Im surprised the shifter hasnt sold yet, I cant remember how many weeks 2 of my friends waited to find one for sale and Ive had one for sale for what, 2 months now?

 

Also, the interior will be available in smaller sets now since my friend hasnt shown the interest needed to answer the phone, or return my calls

Torque tube/gear adapter combo w/ no play?

Can you take a pic of the parts you need or be specific after the torque tube where the ending point is your asking for? There is a nominal amount of play allowed in alot of the parts there in the service manual and if I recall last time I had my car at the trans shop getting a once over on replacing axle seals since I didnt have the time to do them myself, but they wanted too much. Nothing had play in it to the point that they thought it needed me to give them my hard earned money. They usually will jump on something that has a little play and scare people into fixing it, but like I said it must have been acceptable or there was none. I also never noticed any issues or heard any loud noises or bangs when shifting or moving from forward gears to reverse.

there is a gear coupling between the torque tube and rear-end. it is prone to severe wear (like mine) if not greased for a long time. the factory play is fairly tight i think. so the 2 parts i need are the torque tube (between drive-shaft and rear) and the gear on the input of the rear.

So on April 2nd I slammed my 2013 Dodge Dart nto a truck that was completely stopped doing between 55-70MPH. I had no way of knowing cause by the time I realized what was about to happen, looking at the speedo was not first on my mind. Trying t react I was unable to slow the car significantly or get the car to avoid the collision so I had a direct impact. the result was a totaled Dart, and the Chevy Silverado 2500, along with 3-4 other vehicles that where involved all due to a d*** maneuver by the truck in front of me. He decided since he wasnt paying any attention and paniced to quickly switch lanes without touching the brake pedal and by the time I could see what was in front of me it was too late and I was literally a foot behind a stopped truck. Needless to say it hurt, and I ended up spending some days in Baltimore's shock Trauma at the University of Maryland which is more like the hospitals you see on TV where 10 people are messing with you and asking you a billion things to do or questions all at the same time and everything you need to have done is portable except for the CT equipment since its not able to be moved and isnt exactly small or safe around other equipment. I have glass in both hands, and infection in both hands and wrists, and a broken Sternum or breast bone, chest plate etc. I have cracked ribs and basically wasnt hurt much thanks to the car's 5 star rating and ability to keep me relatively safe. Had I been in a Quest, I think the outcome would have been grave if not a whole lot worse. You cant see any of my injuries other than the glass cuts and if I keep my hands in my pockets you cant tell at all. I also smashed my thumb and thought it was broken, when everyone (drivers, off duty medics, paramedics, fire and rescue, police, etc) all asked me how I was and what was wrong all I could say is my thumb is broken and one set of severe glass penetration was in my thumb and palm so I was bleeding enough for them to see my thumb since that was my only complaint and see the blood running onto my jacket, car, clothes and all.

 

Im not telling you guys his for sympathy or anything other than to let you know that I am aot more mobile than if I had posted this when I got home last week but I will be limited in what I can do as far as straining and lifting, and the speed at which I can remove parts, box them, move and carry them, and get them into (a car) when I finally have another one. Now anything else sold on here will go to continued care since I dont have insurance and my PIP with he insurance company is exhausted. Ive also been charged with 8 citations totaling $1560 and an estimated 14 points. Needless to say when I am able to I need second job, and I will need to save anything can make off this car for fees, doctors care, transportation, any lawsuits that ensue, gaps in coverage vs bills, new car, increased insurance premiums for the next 6 months, and alot more. If anyone would like to donate, I would gladly accept anything. It could be a giftcard, Paypal, payment to a fund, bill, etc. Anything. Again if my intentions were for sympathy or money I would have made a thread or a website somewhere and linked it, but I put this in my thread mainly for informative reasons. As much as seeing the damage to a car from an accident interests me from a scientific and methodical aspect has interested me, if anyone else shares that curiosity and would like to see the aftermath of my car, feel free to PM me and Ill email you the pics once you provide the address. I may also upload them to host them and just put them in a PM for those persons. This sucks, and will for many years to come even after my body heals this will scar me and I may face jail time any obviously increased premiums for 3 or more years, I think accidents with most insurance companies last up to 10 years or something. My first any only ever accident or ticket, I may be able to beat the 8 citations but I cannot change that I destroyed a 2 month old car and lost a second job due to it, I hadnt even started. Plus I may have missed enough class to have failed a few of my classes (FML). Just with any broken bone I probably wont be able to remove the engine, trans or very heavy or high yield torque bolts for 5-7 more weeks, July, hot, not a good time to be outdoors parting out a black car, lol.

 

Not more I can say really, help if you would like to, and can afford to, or not. Also please keep this additional information in mind when you see something that I am extremely busy and not this adds onto everything. I am not working right now, but still have school, school does take me longer than it originally did, classes have increased in workload and the difficulty has meant that I now have to study properly. I only have a few more weeks of this semester so soon I will ave more free time, although I do hope to take a summer course, if I fail a class then I may take one over the summer as long as I get the same professor. Other than that, help me part this car out by buying items, I still get quite a few of those PM's that ask for a boatload of info and pics, say its great and the price is affordable or cheap compared to someone else and then they vanish like they never existed. Those are the worst. Help me recover and maintain with a donation or offer to buy something ar a higher cost, but whatever you do, please dont give anything that you couldnt afford to have never had. I will be exhausting my options with a lawyer though my mom's work, and fighting to keep my life as close to what it used to be. I still have 3 cars I need to be rid of, with this one being mine, the other once having been mine and needing a timing belt, and of course my buddy's Quest that needs an engine to start and could have used a ton of parts off my car, and after calling me to let me know he arrived in MD from FL and would be around to hang out, help with the car,etc....he has not once answered, returned a voice mail or text message, or called back. He also knows where I live, and where I work, and a few other things and chose not to for some reason. Not sure of Im still doing the work, or what, if he wants these or any parts, or if he plans on having the car shipped home. All I know is a some point I will either finish without him knowing, or it will sit here as my questions for him, requests for parts and money pile up, or whatever blah blah blah and I dont know what to do. Not my car. thnks everyone for your support and Im still keeping everyone in the loop, and plan on doing that as things improve. Enjoy the spring weather except for some parts getting pounded by snow, and I hope you all had a great Easter!

 

On a side note, I got plenty of meds in the hospital but was sent home with more paper than my weight limit allows me to carry and not a single thing to fill or any meds in my system for the ride home, so yet another way to help me our without spending money that wasnt needed, if you have anything that could help me out that would be great.

I think Ive healed enough folks to continue this part out, I may make a new thread and let this one die out, this time excluding the parts that were sold since the last one was delivered prior to April. Would help with the clutter, make viewing whats left easier, and keep the questions that were here on a fresh start. There are still some things I wont be able to do still but for the most part I think I can handle some simple things without too much pain and little risk of further injury/
