SOTTY Posted October 16, 2012 Report Share Posted October 16, 2012 Hello all , it gives me great pleasure in announcing the dates for next years West coast SQ national meet which will be held once again at the fabulous Casablanca resort hotel and casino in beautiful Mesquite , Nevada just a short and fun filled 1 hour drive (if your into speed limits) from Las vegas .The dates are Friday the 4th thru to Sunday the 6th of October 2013 , special room rates have once again been secured with discounted room rates for all those wishing to attend., so mark your calenders and save up your pennies.The official Sq West coast national website will be up in January 2013 where you can book your room and pay your registration fee .Personally i look forward to seeing my old homeez again from all over as well as greeting new faces which we are expecting many of.So there you go , you've got the dates for next years Mesquite "3" 2013 gig. Looks like I'm heading to Mesquite this year.Yea man , likely to be back at the Casablanca , we had two hotel/casinos in Vegas itself interested in hosting our event but both fell short of what the Casablanca has to offer us , official announcement will be soon , some guys asked if the meet could be moved to Vegas and i looked into it , however many want to return to the Casablanca also as it's a tried and proven venue twice now and very geared up for "car show" events also easier for me as i know "the ropes" there , another factor is the guys feel their cars are safe as the Casablanca provides a night security detail to watch over our cars . SOTTY Posted April 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 Hello peeps , a short update , the dates chosen may have to be changed :mad: to the weekend earlier due to a large gun show being held on "our" weekend , i will be travelling up to Mesquite next week and meeting the Casablanca events manager to see what we can do , i'd rather not change the dates but with a estimated 7,000 people expected to attend the gun show i fear the quality of our meet may be affected.As with previous Mesquite meets your comfort and enjoyment of these gigs is first and foremost on the agenda , keep y'all posted.
