LBC boxes filled to the brim with parts and wrapped in 5 layers of duct tape LOL... -Robert
SFBMX88
So, you're the owner of those 2 beautiful cars. I saw that on a blog somewhere. I had a feeling you're a Flip. Nice cars.... I also have Starlet Pare:) Thanks man! Question for you though. You wouldn't happen to have access to these front end parts would you? - round head light assemblies/mounts, headlight bezels, grill, and the metal piece below the grill - Im trying to convert my front end to what the KP61 wagons have... http://cdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp/carlife/images/User/1302910/p1.jpg?ct=a907971ea025http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/8726/kp61dadaimg600x45012042br3.jpghttp://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1458/kp61dadaimg600x45012042pd9.jpg Edited September 15, 2012 by SFBMX88
RallyMaster
I think that's a KP62 facia converted with round headlights. I don't think it came out that way. The round headlights that came out was the bug eyed '78.
RallyMaster
Since there are no parts available in this part of the world, I decided to have the stock airdam to look like this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/AMG280CE/IMG00676-20120929-2002.jpg
ZacMan
Holy crap. Damn. Damn damn dayyyyyyum! That looks awesome. Any pics of the process of modding it to look like that?
RallyMaster
Unfortunately I didn't take pictures. I asked the fiberglass fabricator to put 2 air ducts, which he did. He made those 2 holes on both sides. Then I asked him to add an integrated chin spoiler, just like the original airdam from a fatty. It's now actually painted. I'll post some pics later. ZacMan
Yes, please do, would love to see. Did he build all that on-top of your original flexible airdam?
RallyMaster
Yes. Coz I wanted to make it look like an OE airdam. Basically, we just modded the lower portion plus the 2 airducts. And, the mod is actually reversible. We can revert to the original airdam if we wish to.

Burton
Nice ride! Hey, maybe we can help each other out... I have a friend with a hot rod shop at Clark AB in Angeles City. Not sure if you're close to that, but I am having him start to do my fiberglass body parts over there, as well as hopefully getting some exhausts and hardpipes done. I'm hoping to send a widebody over there the next time he sends a shipping container, but we'd also be interested in finding a local Starion for part fitment tests and such. If you were interested in letting him test fit on your car, you could get some of the first parts for cheap or free. Also, he sends shipping containers back and forth from here to there 2-3 times a year. If you got me a list of US parts you were looking for, I could find them and put them on one of the containers he sends over there. PM me if you're interested.
