  • 2 weeks later...

Its been a while since I got back to this.

I finally got a crate built for these so I can get some shipping quotes for people.

Just for grins, tankbob, even though I think you got a set recently, fedex ground would be $118

Yamhlr, it would be $90.

Anyone else interested?

Well put, threedoor. I may take that into consideration if these take a while to sell.

When i first put these up for sale, i had not yet built a crate for them. I built one tailored to the set out of plywood and 2x4s.

Now that its built I know the dimensions exaclty. So I now can get accurate shipping quote.

On a side note, I will never try to make money on shipping and I always absorb the paypal fees.

Obviously, I take the paypal fees into concideration when deciding upon an asking price. I think it is a necessary cost of doing " business" on a forum that should be born by the seller.

You and I think much alike :) I never quibble over paypal fee's. I usually "guestimate" low on shipping costs on small items and eat a small loss there rather than mess with individual shipping quotes. I understand checking it out first on a large item. I can loose $5.00 shipping a small item, but not $50.00 guessing wrong on a large one B)

GLWS,

Keith <---- wishes he had $550.00 sitting around unallocated.
