BlackAndBoosted
still have ac delete duct?
conquest707
yep! the bracket, duct and a solid bung for the firewall is all you need to completely remove the AC.
tankbob
My a/c was just ripped out of the car by a previous owner, random clipped wires and all. What exactly does that bracket/duct/bung do for the car? Just makes it look clean?
conquest707
so its an independent system under the hood so you can just tear all that out, the lines, fan and all that. the bung plugs the hole left from the lines through the firewall, the duct replaces the system under the dash, and the bracket replaces the 15 pound thing that holds the ac compressor and alternator with an 8oz one that just holds the alternator. and yes it looks much cleaner, would only be able to tell it had ac to begin with from the hvac controls
joey_crandall
i used a valvo alt bracket with a spacer works like a charm, but if noone else wants the delete duct ill take it.

conquest707
i dont think i have a bung but ill check. 30 plus shipping for the duct and alt bracket?
tankbob
What kind of work is required to get the duct under the dash? Ill forsure take the bracket though.
conquest707
the hard part is taking out the ac unit, thats pretty straight forward, especially if you dont mind cutting through some lines to get them out then the duct fits perfectly in the span, dont have to screw it in or anything.
