ucw458
So I guess I can stop pretending I'm working on a friends truck. This arrived on saturday. Was a gift from my grandma who can't drive anymore. Looks rough but it's not. It's a 1991 Toyota base truck with only 62k miles. Mechanically it's perfect. I fixed where the rats had chewed on the engine bay and replaced the stolen catalytic converter. Doesn't look too dirty in the pics but I spent 2 hours pressure washing it. It's been over 10 years since it was washed. Gonna keep it mostly stock as a DD. Thinking about camping with it since the shell is in really good condition. Picking it up at Grandma's househttp://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/ucw458/New%20Truck/068.jpg After washinghttp://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/ucw458/New%20Truck/DSC03975.jpg http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/ucw458/New%20Truck/DSC03974.jpg http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/ucw458/New%20Truck/DSC03978.jpg

Guest
62K! Shoot, it's got at least another 400K miles left in that thing! Our delivery truck hit nearly 1/2 a million when we did a rebuild on it! Some bastage thieves stole the cat?!! Man, that ish really burns me up. Cat's should have serial numbers on them and anyone who recycles these should have to run the serial number on each cat to make sure they're not stollen. Truck looks hella good for sitting for so long. What size are them tires?
markhansenconquest
those things run for ever, buff it out, replace windshild, fill up tankwith gas and run a couple of bottles of carb cleaner and run it for all long as it will run... my brother in law had one of those 22r motors and ran for 32500 miles till he got rid of it....still running ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................RUN IT IN THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
