Like...fuel pouring out of the back of someones car, bolts falling out of the turbo on someones car, fender rolling, replacing tires, installing new hvac panels, eating, drinking, etc. Names have been excluded to protect the guilty. um,,,,,,,,im on the working side of most of that so im not guilty......... duckheads Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 (edited) Great pictures guys! Hopefully everyone had as good of a time as I did! It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. I have had the privilege of being at all three of the meets at Tye's. At the first meet Tye's non quest freinds and I were making fun of him and for the last two I have been a quest owner thanks to Tye. These meets keep getting better and better. . We had 10 cars this time with several original owners with one being completely stock and looking really sweet! Let's keep the momentum going and get more cars to the fall meet. Those of you who couldn't make it this time should really try to make the next one as they are a blast! Maybe for the fall meet we will pass a hat to pitch in a little bit. Hey Potamus should be heading your way within the next month to get the docks and boat put in at the cottage. Will get in touch with you about the flywheel and clutch. Really appreciate the offer! I was a couple cars behind NotStock and just kept laughing every time I heard that waste gate scream! You always knew where he was. I have to admit though, when Toadie was going onto the on ramp and there was a stream of fuel pouring out of the back of his overflow I was praying that it wouldn't blow!!! He found the culprit when we got back and took care of it along with some really good looking fender rolling. Great job on your first roll, it looked great, I know you had some help too but it was nice (I think that Tye should get a free fender roll for having the event) or if he doesn't want to roll the beautiful fenders on his black beauty we could draw straws! You might offer it as a paid service as well at the next meet for those that want it done (at an awesome SQ Party discount of course!), I would like to have mine done for future upgrades. But I digress, I liked that we stopped for a bit to shoot the cars, that is a must. Video from a gopro or similar would be great as well. I also wouldn't mind lining them up! You have a small private airport nearby that we could "borrow"? Also supporting what Duckhead said, I would be happy to throw twenty bucks in the plate to help with food and drinks. That's a pretty heavy financial burden for you twice a year Tye. We could take an "offering" during the meet and maybe whatever someone wanted to throw in would be fine. You hate to make it mandatory because you don't want to discourage people from coming or make it formal like an entrance fee but I am sure most would be happy to throw a few bucks in the plate to help out. The venison buffalo chili and duck poppers alone are worth the price of admission. Either way, already looking forward to the next one. My 2 cents.
