Indiana Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 That's what is left of the lower rear balance shaft bearing. It can't be the upper rear because there is no way for it to get down in the pan. Someone did a BSEK and was too lazy to pull the pan off or it was very loose then fell out later.
