quikconq
Ok,,finallyI got the bushings in hand and all is good,,,these were madeso we can get them as reasonable as possible, so that meanswe will have to reuse the top plate on the upper bushing, it's thethicker metal plate of the two. Also we have to reuse the 4 steelmetal bushings. We also have to buy 4 new bolts that are around 1/4"-3/8" longerbut 10mm bolts are cheap enough at the local hardware. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/437bdccf.jpghttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/e38b32c0.jpg here is the precedure to install first install bottom mounts nubs downno metal plate necessary herehttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/bf26db0d.jpginstall little metal bushingshttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/899be653.jpgnext install top mount with circular nub downhttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/44ffedb0.jpgnext install the thick metal plate and bolt it togetherhttp://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w316/conquest232/65e66f9b.jpg that's it Edited December 19, 2011 by quikconq

BC_99
Awesome, thanks for taking this on with stedbani and pushing this through to completion. I have been waiting for these for a few years now. You can still count me in for 2 sets. Im sure if they have a few extra sets after the gp, that they shouldnt have any problem selling them. BuGG
If some have backed out can I be added in there spot? You know I need several parts.
conquestTSIguy
Thank you for the update sir. But just out of sheer curiosity and laziness, what is included in the suspension set exactly? I'm trying to rebuild my entire rear end and would just like to know for personal reference what bushings etc it will replace. And if the torque tube bushing don't come with it, I too will also step in and take a set in place of the others that have backed out. Thanks,Sam

89PalermoSHP
i guess ill be third in line for a spare set of torque tube bushings if there are any left over. Just buy oem ones... there is ZERO performance gain by using poly here. I havent recieved an invoice for the trans mount. Is it time to worry yet? Jetspd150
Yes there is! They don't dry rot! Pure performance gain.
89PalermoSHP
Yes there is! They don't dry rot! Pure performance gain. Get new oem ones(if there are no more available here) and you wont have to worry about dry rot for another 25 years
quikconq
How much are oem torque tube bushings? I will be ordering more than enough to coverthose of you not haveing them on their list.
BuGG
On Dad's page he asks $65 for the 4 bushings.
89PalermoSHP
How much are oem torque tube bushings? I will be ordering more than enough to coverthose of you not haveing them on their list. $58 shipped for all 4 @ mitsubishiparts.net. My point wasnt to discourage people from buying them from this GP, just that if there wasnt enough to go around, the oem ones would perform just as well. But back to business, if we havent received an invoice yet should we worry?
