Hey guys,

Have got an '87 JDM A183A 4G63 DASH 3x2 powered Starion GSR-V here which I am parting out. Basically I came across it already mostly in pieces, with a bit of body rust, and most importantly the registration had dropped out of the system making it uneconomical to have it back registered on our roads, so the decision was (reluctantly) made to part it out.

And I will be claiming the following for myself:

I thought I would throw this up on here in case there were some small things which some of you guys in the US would like, unfortunately it is very expensive to freight out the larger and heavier parts over-seas.

Cheers!

Phil

it has a hatch window-top spoiler, you can only just make it on on the first pic, it's clear acrylic and OEM fitment with 'STARION' on the side. Will get better pics when I can. Unsure if you guys in the US got them as well or not?

Price on the hatch spoiler to 2161 please ;)

Will do buddy, will reply back on AUStarion

anybody notice how the tach goes to 9k instead of 8?

Yep, the Sirius/Cyclone DASH 3x2 engines have a 7000rpm redline, despite being SOHC still.

Do you still have the tails? If so, pics please

Gone sorry, but they (and the whole car) looked like this:

the above photo is NOT of the actual car. The actual car, at least when I first saw it, looked like it did in the pics at the very top. Basically already 90% stripped down with all the parts in boxes/stacked inside. There was quite a bit of rust in structural areas, and once the registration is left for a year without being placed on exemption the registration drops out of the system and it is a costly and tedious process to put it back registered on the road. In short, it wasn't worth saving, it was better off being used to fix up other peoples Starions.

Probably too much to be honest :P

I'm having trouble even getting decent quotes to get the hatch spoiler outside of the country. I could try with the company who I am using to bring in a bunch of Starion parts (wheels, diff) with, but I would anticipate at least $200-300 for freight alone!
