conquest1988
Vice grips or weld a nut onto it and work it out of there slowly going back and forth. Good luck.

Indiana
Go to a home improvement type store and get a MAP gas torch. Heat up the housing up red hot, not the stud. Twist it back and forth and take it out little at a time but just go in and out so the threads are clean. When it gets tight again, heat it back up and don't try and twist it all out at once. Dad
We use oxygen/acetylene torch to heat the stud red then let it cool, you may have to do this a couple of times but it will shrink the stud some. Be careful heating the cast housing if you prefer that idea, I have seen people crack cast iron housings after getting them red hot and letting them cool too fast. One thing to keep in mind if you heat the stud it will get brittle and be very hard to drill if you have to go that route. Dad
