allen405
Upon the disassembly of my engine and removal of my flywheel on my '88 quest I noticed that. the dowel pin that is supposed to be there is missing. Is it important that it is there? Otherwise I will have to buy one

Shelby
I believe there are two on the end of the crank snout. http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j382/Starion_Cult/CRANKSHAFTKEYS.jpg?t=1297873491 other end
psu_Crash
The early models pre 1988 did not have that dowel pin so I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary and odds are you never had one in there. But if I were you I would put it in there
allen405
yeah I just ordered one. I was gonna install my engine this weekend but now I'm gonna have to wait for that dowel pin, oh well. Better safe than sorry
