scooterh72
Well it has been a long two years with my two cars. First bought a black 86 with the engine torn down and in dire need of a rebuild. Had engine rebuilt and put back into car only to need a transmission. In my search for a transmission came across another 86 with half the miles of my black one and a way better body. Have transplanted the drive traininto the other car and finally got it running decent. The car had sat for 9 plus years. Took it around the block a couple times this evening. Had to cut is short though. Passed a cop and I dont have any insurance or licensed it yet. DOH! :) :) Edited October 20, 2010 by scooterh72
87Black_Stallion
Suggest changing the in tank fuel pick up screen if it sat for 9 years. Might also want to take the drain plug out the gas tank.

I have alot of money in this car and am planning on spending alot more over the next couple years including a new San Marino yellow paint job. scooterh72
Just a couple pics. Have hard pipes for the engine that I still need to powercoat. Wanted to make sure it was running good before installing them. Tackling the rims this weekend.
Starfighterpilot
The NEXT thing I'd do is replace the "rubber" brake line hoses to the calipers. They are probably dry rotted as heck. Congrats on getting one of your Ladys on the road. For What It's Worth KEN
