JapJag Posted August 30, 2010 Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 Can anyone tell me if the analog dash gauges can replace the lcd digital gauge setup. Is it a matter of unplugging and plugging the analog setup? My dash flashes and gives false readings constantly. Does anyone have an analog dash to get rid of? cyberquest Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 you may want to talk with ulrichwold here on the boards, i know he was successful at putting one of the digital dashes in a widebody so he may have some further knowledge of the digital dash that would be helpful to you. or he may know a way you can covert to analog gauges. JapJag Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 After looking at my owner's manual It showed both wiring systems. The digital has different sensors and a system that converts the signals to digital. Looks like I would need new sensors along with a different speedometer cable system. The manual also says that if the lcd dash fails to replace it. I will have to find me a lcd digital dash that works. Thanks all for the help. There are some subitle differences between the years. I'm not sure if all of them interchange or not, so its best to keep to a certian year.
