vbrad511 Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 Won't work. I tried it several years ago after I installed a new clutch and there wasn't enough travel. It's come to light in the DSM world lately that the bushings in the clutch pedal pivot point are becoming worn, especially when a stiff pressure plate is being used. RichyQuest87 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 I had to make a longer one for my car when I changed my clutch to the ACT. I looked into it a bit and seemed the previous owner put an 86 tranny into and they had longer rods and different TOB. I believe there is a post somewhere about it.
