TM
Guess I'm missing something. First of all I don't know of anything the first 2 manufacturers make for StarQuests. But I went to your web site (the address isn't even a link, so one has to copy and paste it into their browser), and after filling in the vehicle type, found nothing more than aluminum flywheels for $349, after looking through most of the categories. There were a few items that were generic and might fit our cars, but nothing from any of the manufacturers listed as featured in Sept. I'm sure Gates makes V belts for them, but didn't see them. I don't know what the point of entering the model name was, because most of the time I was presented items for any model Mitsu except Starion. Don't understand why you want to advertise on a Starion/Conquest web site, if you don't sell anything for them! If you do, why not just list and provide links to them? tankbob
But why come on here and tell us that enekei/superchips/gates makes items for our cars when they might not? If you are going to try and sell things here atleast post pictures/descriptions on specific parts.

NikoFab
Not everyone on here only drives a starion/conquest. This specific thread is not geared towards just that vehicle. Um...yeah...this thread IS geared toward just these vehicles. You see, this is S T A R Q U E S T C L U B . C O M And you have posted this thread in the STARQUESTCLUB.COM group buy category. Pardon me for stating the obvious, but the only items I see a group buying from this website would be items affiliated with these cars...it's sort of the reason we all joined this site. I didn't come here to find parts for my S2000. So unless we're all driving another car in common, then this thread is irrelevant, along with your argument...to say nothing of the fact that you haven't advertised a group buy on anything in this thread. Unless I'm sorely mistaken, a group buy is one that beholds a particular product or product lineup to, in effect, a niche clientelle. In addition, that group buy generally offers a discount as a result of that niche, or group, ordering said particular product or product lineup...which I don't see happening in this thread. I would say that your other threads like the D2 and Mishimoto are more of what most consider a group buy. I know I've gone group happy here, but I'm just trying to make a point. I've been to your website and seen that you guys indeed have some great products, some of which I may be calling you about (D2s). But in the interest of helping this website be more efficient and effective, maybe consider some of the things that we, your potential customers, are asking/saying... TM - had to go searching through your entire site and was only able to find a few items related to what this site is gauged fortankbob - requesting info and pictures on specific SQC-relevant partsScotty Dont - asking what is the group purchase on this thread I know you've got to get out there and pound the pavement to bring customers in, and I very much respect that. But throwing up a mis-categorized weekly discount thread with non-existent, vague, or potentially irrelevant "specials" isn't maximizing your time spent, and isn't doing us service. Here's an idea that might help you and all of us (admins a little help?). Maybe instead of having the starquest vendors section tucked away in the Newbie Question and Answers thread, we could make it it's own category. They do it over at 26liter.us and it seems to work well for them. For example, Scott with Elutions is doing my MPI ECU mapping. I was on this site for four months before I even knew he existed. Had I checked out 26liter.us earlier, I would have known about him alot sooner, because he's right up there with the other vendors listed in the vendors section! What do you say? Good idea or just me being a whiner? Anyway, I'll be calling you soon about the D2s. Nick
