Lance_S Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 Monte Carlo ss, pulled in front of me on an open stretch of road. I thought he might want to race but he was in front of me. Light went green and I heard his tires screech. I thought, hmm, I guess we are racing! He had a 3 car jump on me when I got off the line and into boost. By second I was gaining on him. I hit third at 20 lbs of boost and it was all over, blew by him like he was tied to a fence post. As I slowed down, he passed me and gave me a thumbs up and a smile. Sorry bro, Been there, done that, it's all part of owning a 25 year car and then trying to double the stock horsepower with bolt-ons. I blew smoke for a couple months until I could get a new head that had valve guides that didn't leak. Here's to hoping that the motor stays together for a while.
