  1. Nice. I am curious what rpm are you at to get with in say 2 psi of peak boost? Lately I have been wondering how one defines the power band with a hp curve like that. What is your rpm drop between gears? What are you tunings with?
  2. Relisted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitsubishi-Other-Pajero-/111822752290?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1a0927ca22:g:7GwAAOSwQoFWO4hh&item=111822752290

  4. If you are not running a cat, i would just disconnect the narrow band input to the ecu. Then you can tune the afr where you want it and be rid of the wide swings. The problem is that the ecu does not know your primary is 80% bigger and appiys the same 02 correction it would for the stock injectors and over corrects. Winter is not user freindy to air flow correction tuning. I would lean mine out 10-15 percent before start up, and then put the fuel back as needed. Under moderate acceleration the stock system will stay in closed loop to about 800 hz of airflow. Or about 3 -4 psi. A set up like yours could stay in closed loop to maybe 8 psi, Another reason to eliminate the wide afr swings.
  5. I did not run a new wire. I just eliminated the extra wire i had run to a switch inside the car. If the problem is voltage drop. A relay tripped by the starter wire should work. If it is an intermittently bad connection, a new wire could be run from the ignition switch to the starter or the relay if you tried that first.
  6. The replacement boots and shifters I bought from mitsu had a larger hole in the boot where it goes over the shifter shaft. I am looking for one for my mk1 shifter.
  7. It looks nice and clean to me. There are some casting lines there that are common and of no concern.
  8. Behind the metal cover by the battery. I found it in the front of the 88 electrical book. It is normally closed. Short answer is a new wire from the ignition switch strait to the starter.
  9. Mine is also a auto to 5 speed car and does the same thing once in a while. I have the wires jumpered by the fire wall. years ago i had extended them in to the car to a switch, but the car would not start reliably. The fsm shows an inhibitor relay that the starter wire goes threw, i believe this was part of the anti theft and alarm system?
  10. Yes, i would recommend the waste gate ported to minimize boost creep Yes it makes a difference. The td06h is bigger yet. The shop i have dealt with advised against it do to the nozzle area being compromised as well as the remaining thickness of the metal. But it has been done with no apparent issues.
  11. In the first post i should have used the term over run fuel cut instead of decell fuel cut. There is a setting under ae for decell fuel amount. Changing that setting from 100 to say 90 may help. I already have the over run fuel cut turned on. Looking at the logs closer, the area i added fuel to for the launch would mostly effect street driving where i typically shift at lower rpms. Where the ve trace is on a high rpm track shift could stand to be leaned out some. Being tbi, the longer time it takes for the residual fuel in the intake to be used up is likly a factor.
  12. The ecu needs to see a rpm signal to fire the injectors. The tack should jump a little during cranking the engine. If it does not, you likely have an igniter or distributor problem or no power to the igniter.
  13. Manual ac controls. You do not see that often in a sq. Maybe no rear wiper on the hatch?
  14. I had my car running pretty good and coming off the shifts well. But when i took it to the track and brought the rpms up for a hard launch it went way lean. If i hold the throttle steady the kpa will drop way down, or it could still be using up acceleration enrichment and or build a couple of lbs of boost. I added fuel to the ve, but now it is too rich off the shifts and won't go till it gets cleared out. This is an area off the map that auto tune likes to take a lot of fuel out of if the decell fuel cut is not turned on. What do i do to fix this ? This is a big injector td06 20g tbi car running ms2.
