Also If I get a used one does anyone know who can rebuild it?

So just a question, has anyone here ran MPI with Megasquirt and not ran it with EDIS? I have a magna setup with megasquirt built by Scott, and I plan on just running stock ignition with an MSD box. I had some issues before, but was curious if anyone else has done this and done it successfully without having to go to an EDIS setup. I appreciate any feedback.
