I have stock engine , 3inch exhaust , Kelly hard pipes, BOV, 19c turbo, my problem is I can run the car fast and its smooth but. If I try to punch it and the car turbo spools it heart out the engine makes popping sounds and shrugs until I let off the higher boost pressure, why won't my engine hold the power from quick and hard boost ?

Hey guys, I was wandering around PF today checking out the early arrivals for the Rod Run car show this weekend when I spotted a Durban flattie on the parkway...anyone here?? It looked to be all stock.

I hear many or most people do this to their conquest, can you do it to an 83' as well (im guessing so because of same engine), and what are the benifits for doing this...I guess im just not sure what it does lol or how it even works.
