Probably a dumb question...

By Keoni1113,
Like the title says this is probably a dumb question. But it's getting awfully hot up here in Oregon and a previous owner seems to have removed the A/C condenser and such. So why exactly? I doubt it was that heavy so weight can't be it. I can see to make room for other stuff maybe? Or does it actually make the engine run better to not have one? Noob question I know but I've never had a car with ac before so I've had nothing to compare to. Thanks everyone
Metal air dam?

By Keoni1113,
Had to take my air dam off to get some work done and it once again cracked. Wondering if there are sturdier alternatives then the flexible plastic that seems to come apart in this hot summer heat. Metal comes to mind. Has anyone done this before? I understand it would have to be a complete custom job. Just mad at my current one and may have to replace in the near future, can keep repairing it forever.
