no spark
By skylinetwo40,
I just bought an 88' TSI. I'm having trouble with the spark. It's missing the ign/key cylinder, but I can still turn it with a screw driver. When I turn the ign. to start the car it just dims the lights and doesn't turn the motor. I know that there's power to the coil and there's power to the starter(I jumped it with a screw driver to turn the motor over).
Any info would be appreciated.
thanks
Photoshop request... :-)
By Turbo_Addict,
Ok - this is to seriously bust one of our contractors cajones'.... is there anyway to take the below picture and put this guy in a Dallas Cowboys jersey? Preferably a Tony Romo one. And one better - a PINK Romo jersey? Maybe make it look like its under the coat he has on? Probably not easy to do, but thought I'd throw it out there. :hmm3grin2orange:

Never easy
By MikeMeyerhoff,
It never is as easy as it should be. Tonight I went at a relitivly simple task of replacing the power steering pump in my gold 84. It started off well and I was cruising right along. Then I got to the point of bleeding the system and the bleeding tube came off and opened the bleeder WAY open. This happened while I had my back turned so in the time it took me to notice I had effectivly flushed all of the ATF into my engine bay !
So I start over with the intention of taking my car to the
hardpipe
By 19cturbo,
can you tell a difference with the two hardpipes, the one from the turbo to air can and the one with the turbo to intercooler.. can anyone tell a difference when boosting.. thanks mike.
