I NEED A TPS, LEFT MIRROR AND ACCORDIAN HOSE FOR AN '85
By tecnic,
I've owned my '85 for 25 years and now the County wants it tagged right away! I need a TPS, missing after being stored due to a bad ignition switch. I now see a small switch with a BB shaped spring pressure detent. It's #31 40 in the ignition switch area. Does that control the fuel pump? I need a left side Mirror and an Accordion Hose to go thru inspection. I'm also looking for a nice Conquest that is for sale. I am restoring my '85, so I can use many low cost parts from early models. Bob ~emai

To Balance or not to balance, that is the question
By natallica,
Going to be rebuilding a 12A into a 16G in a few days. Along with the 12A I have a machined cold side (for a 16G) and a stock hot side. Also have an MHI rebuild kit and a stock 12A turbine shaft. I have no problem with the rebuild itself, I've done 2. But my question is: Do I need it balanced or are the parts able to be installed as is? I've read mixed reviews on this, some say the parts are individually balanced so it's not necessary and some say that it's mandatory unless you want the
