does a starter need shimmed with a lightweight flywheel...if not can someone tell me what is going on with my starting issue...it cranks fine cranks fine and then this loud grinding noise happens and then volts go to 0...the noise don't happen constant it always cranks a few times before it happens but like i said after the noise it don't have anything almost like a dead battery but battery is fine all my accessories come on and we checked the volts on the battery and its fine...noise sounds lik

Taking a roadtrip on Saturday to check this out (from PA to NC about 6 hrs).
