Exactly what are the purpose of the injector clips? Is it as they sound they just hold the injectors in? What do faulty or damaged ones cause the vehicle to do?.

Is this something I could make out of a sheet of gasket paper or should I order one from dad. I really don't want to wait for it to get here next week if its something I could cut out of gasket paper.   -Justin

I've been having this problem for months now and though it was my fuel pump, so i replaced that. Then i thought maybe fuel filter, so i replaced that too. I got ride of my clogged CAT and have new injector clips. Im completely stumped now. Any ideas?
