I wanted to setup this Alpine unit but I hate carving up my wiring and I couldn't find a quality harness. I got to looking at the old SQ stereo that was busted. I took the board with the female plug out - torched it - removed the plug set.   I then just matched up my Alpine wiring to the terminals on the socket. The board was even marked as I recall . I did a little trimming to the posts cause some are long, have a 90 degree bend, and I wanted no question of separation. A quick solder job
