Distributor compatability

I searched, but could not find an answer. Will a 88 distributor work in a 87? My car is a 87 5sp widebody. The only engine mod is hard pipes with a bov.

i have two engine blocks both are from automatic cars , 89 ran wen pulled from totaled car and 88 came along with the purchase of my yellow quest many years ago . both engines have been kept in doors . my suggestion would be to rebuild them before trying to install them . both engines spin freely and still have the auto tranny fly wheel attached. both engines are located in so. california so local sale only sorry but shipping will be a hassle and expensive. i will try to answer any question to b
welding on struts

I recently got some front and rear Tokikos and some Cosmo coilovers and Mookeh camber plates. Reading through some old posts I saw people had cut off the spring perches to clean things up, liked the idea, and went ahead and did it. In the front I still have some adjustability up and down, but on the rears it is too low even with the coilovers all the way up. What I am wondering is if I take my rear struts to a welder and have him put a bead up about an inch from the perch weld, do you think it w
WTB: 86 style lap seatbelt

Hi guys, I am looking for a 1986 style lap belt for a front seat, the one that doesn't use the big retractor spool. I only need the belt, not the latch that is bolted to the seat. If anybody has one, let me know or PM me and tell me what you want for it? No hassle. Thanks a lot
