Factory FPR limits?

I recently bought a 044, and was curious as to whether or not my factory FPR could handle it. As far as I can tell, I haven't seen anywhere that says it can't, I'd just like to be sure.
rattling noise in front wheel.

I have a metal on metal ratlling in my passanger front wheel when I go over bumps but the noise stops when I go on the brakes. Any ideas?

Are all distributors exactly the same on all years? or are they different from 85-86-87's to those on 88-89's? Thanks!
