finders keepers
By v8starion,
My friend pulled this out of a bank owned/forclosed house he was winterizing. He is usually stuck cleaning up after horders & turning in lawn junk for scrap. Untill he got this unicorn today. His boss said tow it home, just get it out of here. No motor/trans in it but its on a pallet. the front diff was in the trunk with a 96mm TB, AEM still shinked in the box and lot of parts. No windshield. No title but you cant reg it anyway. What do you think is worth all cleaned up??
electrical help...headlights, horn, and cigarette lighter dont work.
By substock,
Everything was working perfectly fine up until a couple of weeks ago. I know everything worked as i just passed my state inspection and the horn and headlights were working at that point. It started when i noticed tha my cigarette lighter wasnt working, after doing some troubleshooting i noticed that the horn didnt work and the fuse for it kept blowing. I was told that the horn and the cigarrete light are tied together and a bad cigarette lighter would cause the horn fuse to blow. Is this true
Montero timing belt question
By vbrad511,
Hey all, I'm working on my girl;s 02 Montero, 3.5. I broke into it yesterday and got her torn down and I'm working on reassembly, but I can't quite get the belt to line up correctly. I'm straight up TDC on the mark on the crank, but I'm split a tooth on each cam gear. I've rotated the motor probably 12 times and it always falls right back to where it sits now. Am I better to have the cam trailing the crank or leading it, or am I missing something somewhere? She does do a bit of highway driving,
