1988 Conquest Turbo 5sp [<80k]
By RoninEs,
I am posting this as a find, this is not my car but I will help where needed. Color Blue. This is in amazing condition, considering it's in Michigan [49332]. Wheel wells are intacted and a look at the underside does not appear to show much of any rust. It has less then 80,000 miles on it. Has some spare parts, don't have a list however. Needs a new heater core, front driver tire is shot. Isn't currently in running condition, but last time it ran everything but the heater core worked perfectly.
Car will not start and has zero votage to the dizzy
By TSIboostman,
I was trying to find a location to ground the negative black wire from the neg. side of the coil that runs to the engine. I grounded to the a/c ground and it shorted and killed the car. I now have no spark and it will not crank, I have fuel but no spark. I am thinking I blew up the igniter but I am not sure, I have no rpm tach needle movement when I try to crank the car but know I do have fuel cause I verified it from the tank side. the + and negative terminal on the coil pack is getting power a

Turn over, but no start
By movin on,
First off, I would like to say that my problem is slightly different than the other members. I have fuel to the top hat, new clips, new fuel pump, new fuel line, new plugs, new wires, I have spark, but the trilogy injectors don't squirt. The last time it ran, it would chug badly, as if it would stall if I didn't give it some gas myself. The tachometer does bounce. I checked the spark plugs numerous times after turning it over and they are dry. What is causing the injectors not to squirt?
