I ran across this article today about a federal mandated new vehicle tracking system which may take effect in Jan 2014. 87 Conquest TSI. engine has run great for the last 4 years then all of a sudden it would cut off like ign shutoff and then come back on then off again. engine would never die and return to idle. replace injector clip and did not help. engine runs strong when its not acting up.
