Ok, balance shaft went out. Did an elimination kit and new guides on timing chain. 130k on engine. New cover gasket and water pump gasket and new oil pan gasket. Put on a new timing cover crank seal and slapped it back together. Problem one. Was a tard and had a back fire(really big one) while timing it. Now I have coolant in my oil. Cracked head? Head gasket? How hard is it to mess up water pump and or oil pump gaskets? Problem two, she keeps blowing oil by the timing cover crank seal. Felpro g

88 conquest tsi. my mods are 4inch down pipe, and head studs. my head in cracked around each head stud. do i go with a stock head or is there a twin cam i can swap? if i stick with a stock head, what is this jet valve everyone deletes? what intake manifold can i run with it. i just rather do a head swap with another head, i rly feel like it would just be better in the long run.
