can i take the cluctch pressure plate and other parts out of my 87 and put them in my 89?

I need and want to get rid of the 87 knock box...I have replaced three so far and went out today to start my quest and no start... I would bet that it is the KB AGAIN. So I need an 88/89 Knock box and mating pig tail shipped tp 32514..thanks.
