Looking for a 88-89 5-speed transmission. I have a 87 Conquest TSI. It seems to drain the battery within 2 days, if I don't run the car. I can't seem to find out whats causing it, because I can't find anything on. Anyone else have this problem or know where I can start looking.   My interior lights don't work so I know it isn't them, and I pulled the bulbs to make sure they wouldn't give me problems.   I know my power windows still work after turing off the car for a few minutes, so I am guessing it has a retained power circut?   So is

I did the mod, but in the new module, but found out I'm not getting a good constant signal, seems at lower RPM's the signal is spuratic. I tried putting the a stock distributor in and hooked the stock ign. controller in gave the dist. a spin and it all worked great, so I swapped the pick-up coil between the stock and the modded dist, and same problem, give the dist. a spin and get very spuratic sometimes no spark. An I using the wrong brand for the ign pick-up? The one I got was MD607478 (OE num
