    I think that the VM should be broken in two   1 being the normal, what pistons are best? , or I am gonna change my tranny fluid this weekend what should I do. This forum has all the stuff people need to know for their cars but not instantly   The 2nd one has requests for help, for projects that are being done at that instance or if people cars broke down and they need to go to work tomorrow A more "important" ( for lack of another word) forum   So in summary 1 VM forum for long term or proj

    I've had a few E-mails asking about my 3L project...I talked with the Machine Shop owner, and he informed me that the Design limits are being pushed by going 3L, even 2.8L is pushing the he used the term longevity of the build....The 3L is poss! it's not highly reliable tho. I spent almost 2 hours talking over the design and mechanical soundness of the idea, Mr. Jackson stated to me flatly this motor will produce gobs and gobs of TQ, but it will most likely need a rebuild about every 10K miles,

    Have you thot of maybe making the Flat Body Mechanic to includ Turbo D50's, Mighty Max's, Montero's, and Raiders? Or maybe just say something about non IC'ed SQ. Tell me what you think.
