    Will alternator handle stereo?

    By Draggin_Quest,
I have a stock head unit and stock speakers. I installed a 12 disc JVC FM modulated CD changer. I want to get either one 10" sub or a 12" sub. It depends on wich one will fit. How big of an amp am I going to need? And will my alternator handle all this stuff, or do I have to get a bigger one? If anybody can recommend a sub that doesn't take much space and a cheap amp, I would appreciate it. Also does it matter which way I point the sub? Thanks   Draggin_Quest

Round 1: Not quite enough pre-load. Round 2: Pre-load experiment had a slight glitch, that has been corrected. Round 3: We'll see. We took a page out of the Toyota book by grinding a channel to feed oil through to the rocker shafts. That channel will increase volume to the top. The hole in the block does not line up with the h
